The Parish of Berriew

We are a small rural parish on the border of Montgomeryshire and Shropshire, between Welshpool and Newtown. We extend a warm welcome welcome to the many visitors to the very picturesque village.

About the church

Originally a school /church, now a small mission church between Berriew and Newtown.

A church has existed on the present site since the 6th century AD. The present church was built in 1876. It is a well kept church, a comment often made by visitors. The church is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
