The Parish of Penmynydd

St Gredifael’s Church, Penmynydd is a small rural Church of great historic interest situated on Ynys Mon (the Isle of Anglesey). This church is now closed.

About the church

The Church was founded by St Gredifael (or Credifael) in the 6th Century, and the first stone Church was built here in the 12th Century. It contains the family tomb of the Tudors (relatives of Henry VII/VII)
