History

Finial dated 1588. Spiral incised stone in the gable of the lych gate.

A Pre reformation church it was added to in the  early Victorian Years to form a  Cruciform church.  It stands  on an ancient site and is named for St Enddwyn – a celtic saint known for her healing miracles especially among the lame and those with poor sight. A Modern icon of St. Enddwyn standing above Ffynnon Enddwyn is in the church. Col. John Jones of Maesygarnedd (the regicide) is reputedly buried in the graveyard.  The Stained glass is particularly interesting – it has been linked to Putin.
The Church is open for quiet reflection and prayer.

It is our hope that you will find us an open and friendly church,  there is a small corner where children can find things to do.
