The Parish of Fishguard

St Mary’s Church is in the centre of Fishguard. It is open every day for visitors with services of worship on Sundays and Fridays. We aim to be involved in many of the events which happen in the town from Knitting Jazz to Remembrance Day and to show God’s love as we get involved. In summer 2017 an exhibition was mounted celebrating a select number of Fishguard’s women to connect with the Visit Wales promotion of Jemima Nicholas, unlikely heroine of the defeat of the Last Invasion of Britain which took place here in 1797. Jemima’s memorial stone is on the external south wall of the church.
