Sunday and Weekday Worship

A warm welcome to all of our services!

Holy Communion (traditional language) – 8:00 am on the second Sunday of every month.

Holy Communion (modern language) – 11:00 am on 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays each month (which is all-age worship).  The fourth Sunday Holy Communion will take place in Church House – all other morning services will be in Church.

United Morning Service – United Morning Services joint with the Methodist Church will take place when there is a 5th Sunday in the month.  Forthcoming ones are as follows:

29th March – St Mary’s at 11.00 am
31st May – Methodist at 10.45am
30th Aug – St Mary’s at 11.00am
29th Nov – Methodist at 10.45am

All-age Family Worship – 11:00 am on the 2nd Sunday in the month.

Holy Baptism – by arrangement either at 12:30 or as part of the 11:00 service on a Sunday.

There is a children’s corner in church.

Family & Friends (a ‘Messy Church’ meeting that provides fun and fellowship for families with children) – 4.00 pm in Church House on the 4th Sunday in the month.

Evening Service (traditional Evensong) – 3:30 pm on the first and third Sundays of the month – this is a change from our usual time of 6pm which will continue until Easter when it will be reviewed.

Evening United Services – these take place on the second Sunday of every month in one of the Welshpool Churches.  The forthcoming services are as follows:

April 12th      – New Street
May 10th      – Welsh Chapel
June 14th     – Baptist
July 19th       – Methodist (Roger Jones Musical ‘Mary Magdalene’)

Midweek Holy Communion service in Church House – 9:30 am on the third Thursday of the month.  Special services may take place on other significant days, and there are also Communion services in local residential homes and sheltered housing.  The Vicar and a team of Pastoral Assistants take communion to those who are unable to attend church regularly each month: to arrange communion at home please contact the Vicarage.
