Canon Huw – the good shepherd!

Traffic was brought to a standstill in central London by a herd of sheep travelling across London Bridge.

The right to herd sheep across the bridge dates back to more than 800 years.

One of the oldest surviving traditional ceremonies still in existence today, is believed to have been first presented in 1237.

Canon Huw who was bestowed with the honour of Freedom of the City took part  on September 27th!.
