If you do, please either e-mail them to email@example.com, hand them into Theo’s Shop and Community Space, or St Theodore’s Church (only open during Sunday services) or post to Mr D Williams, 5 Redman Close, Kenfig Hill CF33 6BF.
St Theodore’s Church secures Big Lottery funding!
The parish of Kenfig Hill is pleased to announce that they have secured £100,000 in funding from the People and Places fund of the Big Lottery. This will enable the parish to re-model the interior of the church to allow for greater use by the wider community. Part of the work will entail getting rid of the unsightly and inefficient radiant heaters and installing underfloor heating. So whether you attend a weekly service, a wedding, christening, a concert, meetings or use the church for the community events and activities we intend to offer in the future, the building will be a much more welcoming venue. The parish will be able to extend the work it already undertakes in Theo’s it’s volunteer run charity shop in Bridge Street, Kenfig Hill. Theo’s is an emergency distribution outlet for Bridgend Foodbank and is also a collection point for Bridgend Lifesavers Credit Union. The Lottery funding will allow for St Theodore’s to be re-developed to take its place as a pivotal building in Kenfig Hill as it has been for the last 129 years.
