Sundays at Christ Church

Our service on a Sunday morning offers different styles of worship so everyone is catered for.

9.30am Holy Communion

This service has a mix of both the traditional format, with hymns and Church in Wales liturgy alongside contemporary worship when we are led into the presence of God by our worship leader. This is followed by prayer and a sermon. The service ends with Holy Communion which a key part of our worship. Prayer for healing is available each Sunday.

The service lasts for about an hour.

Coffee is served in Church every Sunday from 10.30am . It’s a great chance for the congregation to meet and chat.

We do not currently have a Sunday school, however there are usually children present at both services, and they receive a warm welcome. They have a dedicated play area at the back, which includes some Bible puzzles, we also have four android tablets loaded with Bible games and stories for children to use. On the first Sunday of each month at 11am the service concentrates more on the children. There is a toilet in church which children are welcome to use at any time, even during the services.

Messy Church runs several times a year as announced where we have fun hearing a story and doing craft on a theme.
