The Parish of Ystalyfera

Welcome to our Website – We are a small parish in the Swansea Valley encompassing the communities of Ystalyfera and Godre’r Graig, where Welsh is spoken just as much as English.

We have recommenced public worship on Sundays. You no longer need to wear a mask, but are welcome to do so. This said, please continue to sanitize your hands and please respect people’s personal space if you are attending worship with us. Thank you.

The seating in church has been returned to its pre pandemic lay out as social distancing is no longer a legal requirement. You are free to sit in the Chancel or the Side Chapel and not just the Nave if you wish to keep a distance from others.

Do not attend worship if you have any COVID 19 symptoms.

The Sunday Service is at 10.30 am with the Holy Eucharist. We use the Church and the Church Hall for Sunday worship due to the building maintenance issues at St David’s.

About the church
