The Parish of Llyn Safaddan

Due to the current Level 4 lockdown, for the time being there will not be any services at Llangors Church in the Parish of Llyn Safaddan nor at Llanfrynach Church in the Beacons Benefice.  We are continuing with online and notice sheet services as below:

MINISTRY AREA WEEKLY NOTICE-SHEET  We are publishing a weekly notice-sheet which contains a short service of readings & prayers to use at home – this can be found here.

MINISTRY AREA VIDEO SERVICES  Trina Lodge is producing a weekly video service for you to watch and join in with – these can be found here.

LIVE ZOOM SERVICES  We also hold live services via Zoom each Sunday at 9.30am. All are welcome to join these, but you need to contact one of the Ministry Team beforehand to get the link for you to join. Liz Bramley also holds Zoom services at 11-30am, on the 2nd Sunday of each month, for the Family Church group that used to meet monthly in the Henderson Hall – contact Liz for details.

MINISTRY AND SUPPORT  The Ministry Team is available to be contacted by phone or email.  And our congregations exist within our local communities where we must all keep in contact with and help one another as far as possible.

ENQUIRIES   For any enquiries please contact Revd Kelvin Richards, Priest in Charge.

We are a group of  five rural churches just a few miles north east of Brecon. We are positioned around Llangors Lake and set in the midst of beautiful hills. We aim to keep our churches open all the time and hope you will feel that they are places where you can meet the hospitality of God.

Together with the six churches in the Beacons Benefice we make up the Beacons and Llyn Safaddan Ministry Area.  The churches and their ministry are available to anyone who lives in or visits the area – not just people who attend church regularly on Sundays.
