Sunday School

Our Sunday School promotes a life with Christ as fun, as we seek fellowship and friendship with one another. Our activities are very craft and activity based and all are age appropriate. We follow the Scripture Union scheme and supplement this with projects relevant to our children.

We meet at 10.00am and begin with some action songs and prayers together. We then split into classes, 0-4years, 5-7 years and 8 and over. We encourage older children to help the younger. Class teachers prepare games, puzzles and activities within a theme and then we feedback to each other at the end of the session. We finish with a prayer and join the church service.

We enjoy fun trips out together, a christmas party and a prizegiving service every year. We take part in many festivals in the church and have great fun preparing a Christmas Nativity each year. We also have fun workshops for special occasions, e.g. Good Friday. We also enjoy the annual Diocesan Children’s Day at Brecon Cathedral.

We believe all children are special and try to accomodate all their needs. Each child receives a birthday card, a present from Santa and a book every year. We also encourage our children to help others and take part in Operation Christmas Child each year.

Come along and join our fun, fellowship and friendship.
