The Beacons Benefice

Cut montage 1

With the Covid-19 pandemic, we have not yet reopened any churches in the Beacons Benefice for public church services and our church buildings remain closed.  In our Ministry Area, Llangors Church is open for private/personal prayer from 10am to 11am each Thursday morning.  Also Brecon Cathedral is open for private/personal prayer on Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 2pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 5pm.

Please see our During Covid-19 webpage for what services and help are available to us at this time alongside God’s continued love.  In our Ministry Area, we have a weekly Ministry Area notice-sheet with short service to read at home.  We also have a weekly video service on YouTube and are holding weekly Sunday services on Zoom.  Details of all these are in our weekly News Post.  The clergy on the Ministry Team can also be contacted by phone or email.  For any enquiries or particular needs, please contact Revd Kelvin Richards, Priest in Charge.

We are a group of six churches covering an area to the south east of Brecon, with the Brecon Beacons to the south and the valley of the River Usk to the north.  Together with the five churches in the Parish of Llyn Safaddan we make up the Ministry Area of the Beacons and Llyn Safaddan.  The churches and their ministry are available to anyone who lives in or visits the area – not just people who attend church regularly on Sundays.

For information on any specific church, click on Churches and select the church.
