Regular church services under ‘Covid Stable’

With Wales currently in ‘Covid Stable’ and seeking to transition with Covid from pandemic to endemic, we are increasing our monthly pattern of church services in April.  A new rota of services will be published for May 2022, with the time of the Sunday morning communion service returning to 10.00am.

The weekly Zoom service will stop at the end of April.  Also, our YouTube service will be at approximately monthly intervals, not weekly.  We wil continue to produce and distribute a weekly noticesheet with services.

Please look at the services News Post on the website for up to date information.

Full details can be seen on our ‘During Covid-19’ webpage (click here).  We wear face masks and maintain 2m social distancing in churches as a risk management measure.  We expect those attending services to have recently taken a lateral flow test with a negative result.

With regard to Communion, only the wafer (bread) and not wine will be given by the priest to those in the congregation wishing to receive communion.  It is not considered safe to administer wine.

With regard to singing in church and organ music, there is always recorded music and we may or may not sing along with this. The Minister will inform the congregation accordingly. (The current infection rates can be seen on line – click here).
