The area
The church sits by itself in farming countryside in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons about 1/2 mile to the south west of the village of Pencelli. This is also walking country and visitors are always welcome.
The church
The church is an interesting well-kept building with parts dating back to the 13th century. It is substantial, having a north aisle alongside the nave. The tower has a fine peal of eight bells which rings out across the Usk Valley and is a popular destination for visiting bell ringers.
