The area

Llanhamlach Church originally served the villages of Llanhamlach, Groesffordd and Llechfaen and the outlying farms and houses.  We always have a welcome for visitors and also engaged couples who join our services in preparation for marriage.

The church

The church was rebuilt in 1887 although it retains some earlier monuments and a 15th century porch and tower.  It’s a light and peaceful building, with graceful angels painted around on the east window.  A guide book is on sale in the church.  For further information on the church building, click here for the Brecknockshire Churches Survey page.
