During Covid-19

CHURCH SERVICES FOR YOU IN OUR AREA

In the current phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, from Easter 2021 this Ministry Area is reverting to the same monthly pattern of services that we had before the December 2020 lockdown, i.e.

  • 10.30am at Llanfrynach on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month
  • 10.30am at Llangors on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the Month

Because of the need for social distancing, we will be limited in the number of people we can accommodate at either church building. So if you want to come to a particular service could you please let Kelvin know by phone (01874-676146) or email by mid-day on the Saturday before the Sunday service.  Under the current regulations, face masks will need to be worn so please bring one with you, although disposable masks will also be available.  Singing is still not possible at the moment.

Brecon Cathedral is also open for services and for prayer.  See its website for details.

What ELSE is Available in OUR AREA AS SPIRITUAL HELP?

Be assured that God’s love for us remains. If you are unable to, do not wish to, and cannot attend church services, we have the following:

Ministry Area Weekly Notice-sheet  We are publishing a weekly notice-sheet which contains a weekly letter and notices about the current services from Kelvin as Priest in Charge, together with a short service to follow at home with readings, prayers and a short address.  You’ll find a link to the current Notice-sheet in a weekly News Post in the list on the right side of the Home Page.  All Notice-sheets are then archived on the Notice-sheet webpage.

Ministry Area Video-services  We are also recording a video-service for each Sunday and stream these via YouTube.  Each time we publish a video-service, we’ll highlight this and give the link to YouTube in the weekly News Post on the right side of the Home Page.

Live Zoom services  We also hold live services via Zoom each Sunday at 10.30am.  Those in our Ministry Area are welcome to join these, but you need to contact or have been in touch with one of the Ministry Team beforehand to get the link for you to join.  Liz Bramley also holds Zoom services, currently monthly, for the Family Church group that used to meet in the Henderson Hall – contact Liz for details.

Ministry and support  The Ministry Team is always available to be contacted by phone or email.  And our congregations exist within our local communities where we must all keep in contact with and help one another as far as possible.

Enquiries   For any enquiries please contact Revd Kelvin Richards, Priest in Charge.
